ibex gale were appointed to lead, manage and deliver a large scale redundancy project impacting 100+ roles based in the UK and Channel Islands. The project involved two phases of redundancies running concurrently. We worked closely with the client's global HR, legal counsel and external legal teams to plan the process and strategy for both phases. We then managed delivery of all aspects of the process, supported managers, planned and led collective consultation meetings and continuously liaised with internal project teams to respond to areas of business risk and project timescales.
We contributed to the completion of the redundancy programme within the client's project timescales, which ensured productivity and efficiency goals could be realised. As part of the restructure, we were also able to identify skills/roles that could be retained by the organisation, upskill managers and ensure that redundant employees were treated fairly and respectfully.
