In 2001 Matt qualified with an international commercial law firm. He went on to be an employment lawyer and partner in a number of firms including a large regional commercial law firm, a niche commercial practice, and a national plc law firm. His experience is predominantly in the commercial world, working with both privately-owned commercial enterprises and publicly-listed corporate entities. Matt has 15 years management experience and many years of wider business experience. He has been part of an executive team where he held management and budget responsibility for a team of 20 lawyers and strategic responsibility for a graduate recruitment programme. He has held multiple company directorships and governance roles. Matt set up his own management consultancy business in 2021, providing businesses with legal and management consultancy services.
