This is a great opportunity for either a recent graduate with 1-2 years marketing experience, or a marketeer who would like a hands-on role with a digital marketing focus. The most important criteria is demonstrable marketing ability, attention to detail so your work is always of the highest standard, and a willingness to get involved across all levels of the marketing mix.

ibex gale is an established and growing company with a strong client base. The company’s services cover five areas: workplace investigations, conflict resolution and mediation, organisational culture, change projects, and compliance and regulation. We strive to give every organisation access to the cutting edge resources required to create outstanding, compassionate cultures.

This is a newly created position to help deliver our marketing plans. You will report directly to, and work under the guidance of, the Head of Marketing.

At ibex gale, the majority of our working hours are remote, with regular video calls via Teams each day. We meet up as a company once a quarter – often in Bristol – usually for a day long meeting. In addition, the successful applicant for the Marketing Assistant role would be required to attend a meeting in the Cirencester area once or twice a month.

Ideally a Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in marketing or business.

Demonstrable knowledge of marketing, particularly digital marketing techniques.

Prior experience of website CMS, online analytic tools, Google AdWords, and a basic understanding of SEO.

Proficient in MS Office and associated apps.

You’ll have ideas on creating great content and ideally working knowledge of Adobe software such as Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.

You’ll be highly organised – able to multi-task, work independently on some projects and meet deadlines.

You’ll have a can-do attitude to work, and the ability to rise to a challenge.

A typical day

Your morning might be spent collating content for a marketing brochure, working on a video campaign or posting content on one of the company’s social media channels.

You might also be doing research to work out how we can increase our social media following. Or identifying the most influential thought leaders in a new market and collating information on trending topics to write about.

The afternoon might involve meetings to update the service leads on their particular marketing campaign progress and receiving briefs on a whole range of marketing initiatives.

In any week there will be multiple projects happening, but you will be guided all the way by the Head of Marketing.

Applications will be reviewed after the closing date of 10th January 2022.
